February 11 is the Feast of the Our Lady of Lourdes. It was to the visionary Bernadette that the Blessed Virgin Mary said, "I am the Immacuclate Conception". More than 150 years since the apparition, the shrine at Lourds is one of the most visited Marian sites.

“Have pity on the heart of your Most Holy Mother. It is covered with the thorns with which ungrateful men pierce it at every moment and on there is no one to remove them with an act of reparation".
